Flexible teflon hose are constructed from a flexible convoluted teflon inner tube externally reinforced with stainless steel wire. The inner teflon tubes are available in corrugated or smooth type with the former being more flexible than the latter. SS Teflon hoses can be used for general purposes as well as applications that includes high temperature and pressure. Like SS flexible metal hose, the addition of external braiding provides extra pressure resistance and protection for the hose.
