Fuel injectors help to derive the right balance between oxygen and fuel consumption for the cars, by changing/adapting the fuel usage in tandem with the oxygen consumption capacity of the cars. When the fuel injectors are cleaned properly, cars give good mileage and gasoline consumption will be optimum.
 
If the injectors are not properly maintained, the following problems may happen:
• Unclean or blocked fuel injectors
• Fuel injectors not opening or not closing
• Leaks in the nozzles of fuel injectors
 
These could happen if unnecessary residue or foreign substances like rust get settled on the injectors.
